Mexico, or the United Mexican States, (Estados Unidos Mexicanos), is located on the continent of North America.It is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean, and The United States, Belize, and Guatemala.It has a total of 1972550 Sq. The natural resources of Mexico are petroleum, silver, copper, gold, lead, zinc, and natural gas.There are also a few farms, but they make up for less than one percent for the country's total land use, the major crops being corn, wheat, soybeans, rice, beans, cotton, and coffee.The major industries include food and beverages, tobacco, chemicals, iron and steel, petroleum products, and tourism.
Some interesting holidays that Mexicans celebrate are Dia de los Muertos, Cinco de Mayo, and Dia de los Santos Reyes, to name a few.Dia de los Muertos is the day of the dead, a holiday that embraces death.Small loves of bread, called pan de muerto, is baked, with small figs laid in it to represent bones.Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of the defeat of the French army in 1862.The independence of Mexico is celebrated in large parties.Dia de los Santos Reyes is when the Mexicans exchange Christmas gifts.
