There are several reasons why human cloning is expected to benefit mankind.First of all, rejuvenation is a key argument for advocate of human cloning.Human cloning technology could be used to reverse hear attacks.Human Cloning Foundation (1998) states that by injecting cloned healthy heart cells into damaged heart tissue will lead to healing of the heart.By combining the technology for cloning and the technology for growing human stem cells, diseases like Parkinson=s, Alzheimer, and diabetes may be curable.There are many possibilities for mankind; however, if human cloning is banned, those possibilities may not be discovered.Next, human cloning can be used to help benefit people who are sterile and cannot have children through the natural way (Shiota, 2000).It is the desire of many couples to have a child, but when it?fs impossible to bare a child on their own, cloning will allow them to have a child that has the genetic pattern of one of the parents.Finally, cloning can help research progress.We are able to learn enough to produce human organs without having to produce human beings, and also we can learn more about cell differentiation.We may develop technology to allow easier genetic testing and fix problems such as spinal cord injuries, cancer, Tay-Sachs disease, and so on (Human Cloning Foundation).
